SRX18991793: Whole genome shotgun sequencing of a human-associated bacterial isolate
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina MiSeq) run: 399,515 spots, 229.9M bases, 140.1Mb downloads

Design: DNA was extracted from glycerol stocks of bacterial cultures grown overnight. Sample libraries were prepared from the extracted DNA using the Illumina DNA Prep kit and IDT 10bp UDI indices, and sequenced on an Illumina NextSeq 2000, producing 2x151bp reads. Demultiplexing, quality control and adapter trimming was performed with bcl-convert (v3.9.3)

show Abstracthide Abstract
Nine bacteria originally isolated from the human gut or oral cavity underwent whole genome shotgun sequencing to confirm their identities and genetic capabilities. These bacteria are as follows: Bacteroides fragilis (32-6-I 11 MRS AN), Escherichia coli K12 (ATCC 25404), Bifidobacterium longum subsp. infantis (ATCC 15697), Bacteroides caccae (ATCC 43185), Prevotella intermedia (ATCC 25611), Clostridium beijerinckii (ATCC 51743), Ruminococcus bromii (ATCC 27255), Akkermansia muciniphila (ATCC BAA-835), and Enterococcus faecalis (SF24397)
